“If you are not having fun with it, then you are not doing it right. Don’t get caught up in the fact that bees sting, and don’t let the cloud of doubt and inexperience overwhelm you. Channel those nerves into bravery, take a few deep breaths, and simply observe the bees. Enjoy their behavior, and let your instincts guide you. Take care to observe all you can about typical bee behavior and healthy hive appearance. These observations will form the fundamental core of all your future beekeeping, for anything abnormal will thereafter be easy to spot”.
